Former Member, Inactive Soprano

Bio/Profile

After a number of years performing in amateur musical theatre, Helen moved to the world of a cappella singing in 1996, joining a community choir run by Stuart Davis which later became ‘I Sing On The Cake’.  A follower of the Cafe of the Gate of Salvation since their early days, Helen fulfilled her dream to sing with the choir after a successful audition in the year 2000 and has not looked back.  The highlights of Helen’s time with the choir include Womadelaide, New Zealand Tour in 2007, Olympic Arts Festival, singing with Paul Capsis and Australia Day at the Rocks.  However the choir’s participation in numerous fundraising and cause-related events will always be on top of the list.  Helen works in event management and splits her time between Sydney and farming in Tasmania’s beautiful West Tamar Valley.
