I have been singing since I was a child. Both my parents were in the Cafe of the Gate of Salvation and I grew up around the choir, waiting for my chance to join as well. I love singing with the choir because, even though I'm athiest, I still feel a certain spirit and energy singing gospel music with such a joyous group of people.
