Kristen trained at uni as a classical soprano and is now a music teacher, but joined the choir in 2015 because she was craving more musical freedom. As a youngster, she remembers her older sister raving about this great gospel choir called the Cafe of the Gate of Salvation (what a great name!) and always thought 'one day I'll join that choir'. A dream come true...now she is loving Wednesday night rehearsals, learning to 'let her hair down', musically speaking, and get into the groove!
